What is the difference between camping and glamping?
Glamping supplies the shelter and bedding — a furnished tent, cabin or pod — plus real bathrooms. Camping means you bring and pitch your own gear. Glamping typically costs three to five times more per night.
Can I camp without a reservation?
First-come, first-served loops still exist, mostly at smaller or higher-elevation campgrounds, and dispersed camping is allowed on much BLM and national forest land. Popular parks are reservation-only in peak season.
