For more than 30 years, Tinsel & Treasures has successfully raised more than $6 million for Junior League of Lafayette?s community programs. 100 percent of these funds are invested in the Lafayette area through programs benefiting women and children, allowing the League to advance women?s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Held at the CAJUNDOME Convention Center in late September, Tinsel & Treasures features more than 100 merchants from across the country offering a curated selection of holiday décor, fashion, gifts, gourmet foods, and specialty items. Shoppers can discover one-of-a-kind finds while enjoying a festive atmosphere filled with seasonal cheer. Market Choice - ticket good for one entry day of choice. The following bags will be permitted inside the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center and are subject to search. • Clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12 by 6 by 12. • Clutch or small purse, with or without a strap, that does not exceed 6.5 by 4.5. • Equipment bag for necessary medical items. • Diaper bag for age-appropriate children accompanied by an adult. • Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: large purses, duffle bags, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, mesh bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size 12 x 12 x 6". Tinted or printed-pattern plastic bags are not clear, so they will not be permitted.
